4. Solidarity: Standing with the Youth of Belarus

People -including students and youth - in Belarus are fighting for democracy and human rights and protesting across the country while facing brutal repression. In this session, we will hear from Belarusian NGOs and youth organisations about their experience and activism against an authoritarian ruler and against human rights violations, so that together we can call for change & justice in the country!

Do you know what is happening in Myanmar? Every day, people are fighting for basic human rights & democracy in the face of a military regime that has seized power and serious human rights violations - including arbitrary arrests, torture and killing. Youth activists from Myanmar will tell us about their struggles, and how they are bravely fighting to restore democracy in their country - as well as what we can do in Europe to support them.
